Dear Families,

Beginning February 1, 2026, Dr. Caitlin Bennett, Dr. Sarah Mader, and Dr. Maddy Ziss will no longer be working together as The Juniper Group.

Rest assured that none of you will go without care, and your prenatal visits will still be at the Sydney Perinatal Clinic. Dr. Caitlin Bennett will have her own group of patients and Dr. Sarah Mader and Dr. Maddy Ziss will share care of another group of patients. We hope this change will help improve access to care for families who want prenatal care in Sydney.

Starting November 10, 2025, if your estimated due date is February 2026 or later, hospital staff will call and ask if there is a doctor you prefer to see for most of your prenatal care. Your choice of doctor or doctors will be accommodated; if you have no preference, you will be assigned either to Dr. Bennett or Drs. Mader and Ziss for the rest of your pregnancy care.

If your due date is on or before January 31, 2026, your prenatal care will not change and remain under the current Juniper Group care model.

Families who are newly pregnant and looking for prenatal care in Sydney can continue to call the Sydney Perinatal Clinic (902)-567-7261 to self-refer to either:

Dr. Caitlin Bennett’s prenatal practice

or

Dr. Sarah Mader and Dr. Maddy Ziss’s shared prenatal practice
